Laps2Go ist eine App speziell für das Tracken von Runden im Stadion beim Eisschnelllauf oder Speedskating.

Zu diesem Zweck werden Standortdaten, die beim Laufen um einen gegebenen Mittelpunkt anfallen, analysiert.

Der Vorteil dieser Methode ist, dass mit der Distanz als Invariante auch bei ungenauer Lokalisierung die Genauigkeit des Durchschnitts der Rundenzeiten steigt.

Nach der Eingabe der Eckdaten (Streckenlänge einer Runde, gewünschter Zählmodus, optionale Sprachausgabe) wird einmalig der Standort bestimmt und nach Kalibrierung das Tracking gestartet. Mit der Stop-Taste wird der Lauf beendet.

Im Anschluss können in der Auswertung die Rundenzeiten kontrolliert und bei Bedarf das generierte Keyhole Markup an eine Emailadresse gesendet werden.

Für das Funktionieren der App ist ein GPS-Signal mit einer Genauigkeit von 10 Meter oder besser erforderlich.

Laps2Go is an app specially designed for tracking of laps while speed skating or ice skating.

For this purpose, location data gets analysed while you're moving around a given center.

The advantage of this method (with the distance as invariant) is that even in the case of imprecise localization the accuracy of the average round time even increases.

After setting up some preferences (i.e. distance of one round, counting mode, optional speech output), the current location is once taken for calibration and afterwards the tracking continues until the stop button is pressed.

To function properly, the app requires a GPS signal with an accuracy of at least 10m.

The stat view gives the opportunity to recall lap times. Also the generated keyhol markup file may be send to any desired email address.

This app uses GPS function of your device to measure your location, speed, and moved distance. Continued use of GPS running in the background has a possibility of decreasing battery life.
